It's Me, But It's Not Me
I lived in a seaside city in my childhood, and was quite familiar with marine animals. I used to have a self-protective shell just like the sea shells. I curl up within that shell, not wanting to try out new opportunities. Later, I began to think about the relationship between it and me. The different shapes of the marine animals are like different characters, just like the fact that different people have different names.
In my works, I try to construct new forms by breaking their original shells, just as I break through my own limitations to usher in my own turning point. I use my own experience to arouse the deep thinking of the viewers, and call on everyone to dare to break through the limitations of self-defined and try new possibilities.
